Q. How much notice do I need to give to hire the soft play?
A. You can book as close as two days before your event/party via our website, however, we get very busy during the school holidays and hot spells so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Alternatively, you can contact us on the day, as we may have availability.


Q. When is soft play available?
A. Our soft play is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all year-round including Bank Holidays. Please note that there are extra fees for special occasions such as Christmas.


Q. What do the prices include?
A. All booking prices include delivery, set-up and collection of equipment along with all flooring to make your booking extra safe. Please note that some delivery areas will incur a delivery charge, contact us for more information.

Q: How Long Does a Hire Last?
A: It’s up to you how long your party is going to last. We hire our packages out as standard between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm. Any time required outside of these hours will be charged at an additional £10 per hour but does need to be pre-arranged beforehand. The average hire lasts between 2 and 5 hours. 


Q: Do I Need To Pay A Deposit?
A: Yes, we ask for a £25.00 deposit to secure your soft play party package and date.

***Please note the £25.00 deposit is deducted from the final payment. If you're paying in full during the checkout process, no worries, you're completely done.

Q. How do I pay?
A. We accept payments via PayPal, card payment or by bank transfer. Our bank details are as follows;

At the time of booking, you can either just pay the deposit or the full balance. Any remaining balance will be due on the day of the event. This can be paid either by cash or card at the time of delivery, or by bank transfer but we must have received cleared funds no later than 24 hours before the event. Please ensure all cash payments are the correct amount as we do not carry change and cannot be held reliable for money transactions once we have left.


Q. What if it’s raining on the day of my booking and I have booked for outdoor use?
A. Where possible we will set up in an indoor space if available. Toppletots cannot be held responsible for the weather and if we do not deem an indoor space is suitable then the booking will be cancelled. You will then have 6 months to re-arrange your booking, with the deposit being retained by us and deducted from your final balance when this becomes due. It is Toppletots discretion whether an indoor space is suitable.


Q: What Happens If I Need To Cancel?
A: As long as you cancel your booking no less than 28 days before your hire date, your deposit will be returned in full. For cancellations received less than 28 days before the hire date your £25.00 deposit will be retained although where more than 14 days notice is given we will allow you to transfer your deposit to an alternative hire date within 6 months of the original hire date, subject to availability.


Q. How long does it take to set up?
A. The equipment takes between 30 – 45 minutes to set up / pack away. However, this is only an estimate, times may vary depending on what you hire and the ease of access to the proposed site.


Q. Can the soft play be used indoors / outdoors?
A. Yes, our soft play can be used indoors and outdoors. If you require to use the soft play outdoors, we will provide a ground sheet as well as the soft play flooring. This can only be provided on either non sharp hard standing ground or preferably grass.

A. Once you have seen something you like, click the 'description & sizes' tab, to find some handy information of the item / package you wish to hire


Q: How Much Room Do I Need To Allow?
A: This really depends on the package you're looking to hire. We supply all of our packages with soft play mats which can be arranged in almost any shape to accommodate different layouts. Each package will be supplied with enough mats to create the ideal soft play area however smaller areas can be accomodated if space is limited. You can obtain sizing of each package and any of the add-on’s by visiting our ‘description & sizes” tab on the website. Please notify us if space is a potential issue so we can discuss your individual requirements.

Please note: It is the responsibility of the client / bookie or hirer to check the space required for their chosen soft play package. On delivery, if the soft play equipment will not fit in the space provided the client / bookie or hirer will still be charged the total outstanding amount of the hire. We cannot be held responsible or liable if the soft play package does not fit.


Q. Who can use the equipment?
A. The soft play equipment is designed for children 5 years and younger.


Q. How should the area be upon arrival / set up?
A. Please ensure that the proposed site for the soft play is free from debris/garden furniture/children’s toys and most importantly dog / cat mess.


Q. What should I do before you arrive / set up?
A. Please make sure paths and access to your garden are free of obstacles.


Q. Are we insured?
A. Yes, we have £5 million PLI (Public Liability Insurance). This covers against injury caused by inappropriate or unsafe set-up, or faulty equipment. However, it doesn't cover against loss, damage or injury caused through either negligent use of the equipment, altering any aspect of the set-up after delivery, or through normal use where accidents may occur. As the hirer, you are responsible for ensuring adult supervision of the equipment at all times.


Q. What are the earliest/latest collection times?
A. The earliest we can deliver is at 8:30am, ready for a 9am booking start time and the latest collection time is 6:00pm. We could collect later then advised during busy times but we aim to give you as much notice as possible in this instance.


Q. What events do we cover?
A. We cover child's party, nursery play days, corporate events, school fairs and fetes and festivals. Can’t see your event listed? not to worry, simply contact us, we’re sure we can help out.


Q. What if it rains during my event?
A. Soft play must be placed under cover in the event of rain, e.g. in a house or under tarpaulin.


Q. Can equipment be brought though houses / buildings?
A. Yes, but its not advised that equipment is carried or moved through buildings. It’s down to the owners discretion, Toppletots cannot be held liable for damages or loss.


Q. Can we set up on mud?
A. Strictly speaking no, it really depends on how muddy it is and if the hired equipment will be dirty. We can supply ground sheets but this has to be pre arranged and approved. Of course we can set up on grass if you have a grass area available.


Q. Can soft play go on hard standing ground (patio / driveway / Astro turf / playground / car park or alike)?
A. Yes, soft play is not required to be pegged down so can be placed on any flat none sharp surface.


Q. Are safety mats provided?
A. Yes, please ensure all mats supplied with the equipment remain where they are positioned during installation.


Q: Is Your Equipment Clean?
A: Absolutely. We guarantee all of our equipment to be clean and in immaculate condition for every hire. All of our equipment is thoroughly cleaned following every hire.


Q: I Live Outside Your Delivery Area, Will You Deliver To Me?
A: As standard we cover Beverley, Hull and surrounding villages however occasionally we delivery outside of this area but delivery charges will apply. Please call us for more details and a quote.


Q: Can I Collect The Equipment?
A: No. We deliver all of our equipment and later collect from your home or venue.
